Austra “Beat And The Pulse” (nsfw, unless you work in an awesome queer space)
This video comes from one of the best albums I’ve heard in a while. My experiences to this music this year are many, but it seemed always perfect when lying incoherently in the midst of a hangover and contemplating they “why?” of my existence. The amazing musicality is increased by some of the most dark, sexy, evocative and provoking lyrics of MY LIFE. My favorites include:
“I came so hard in your mouth, I saw the future, it was dark.”
“I want your blood, I want it in my hair. I want your blood, I want it in my hair.”
“Arise sweet demon, and have your say. I deserve nothing, but fortune’s way”
…and all of “The Beast”. I can’t recommend this album any more. It gets 5 out of 5 FEEELINGS.
